Dumbbell Deltoid Raise – Anterior/Lateral/Posterior



Exercise home

Stand holding two dumbbells with knees slightly bent.
Firstly, with palms facing the body, raise the dumbbells until parallel with the floor.
Lower to the side.
Secondly, with palms facing down, raise the dumbbells out to your side until parallel with the floor once more.
Lower to the side.
Finally, with palms facing backwards, squeeze the dumbbells together behind your lower back.
Return to the start and repeat.
KEEP THE CORE ENGAGED AT ALL, DO NOT ARCH THE LOWER BACK AT ANY TIME AND DO NOT “SWING” THE DUMBBELLS UP.
